A very big thank you to those of you who visit our site and keep an active interest in the rhino poaching tragedy. Our rhinos are in very deep trouble, the poaching threat is ever-evolving and increasingly sinister while the challenges and dangers mount against rhino reserves and their brave rangers. Irrespective of how hard this gets we are committed for the long haul, and for our rhinos sake we’re counting on you too……

From funds raised through the sale of rhino bands, stickers and keyrings we've been able to make some meaningful donations. Please click the banner below for updates and pictures.

Rhino Firelighters

"I was born in Zimbabwe and I know how many rhino used to run wild, especially in the Zambezi Valley. The rhino poaching situation in South Africa came as a complete shock and I had to find a way to help stop the same from happening in here." Andre Okes

Andre subsequently contacted StopRhinoPoaching.com with his firelighter idea, and we are truely proud to be involved.

The braai is a fantastic platform where we can highlight the plight of the rhino. The firelighters are a way for all South Africans to contribute towards rhino security without necessarily making a donation - everyone can get involved at no additional cost as they are going to be buying firelighters anyway. As Andre says, these firelighters are a way of raising funds, without the actual fund raising side.

The information on the back of the Rhino Firelighter box will change with each reprint showing the public exactly where their contributions have been spent. R1.50 for the sale of each box will go to StopRhinoPoaching.com.

For more information on the Firelighters, please contact Andre:
